It’s the 1950s, and a mysterious 26-year-old drifter named Raccoon Jevine stumbles across the Robinhood Motel, where he spends a lonely 24 hours. Through intimate conversations with the camera, poetic reflections, and stories of his mistakes, ex-lovers, and a past he only partially reveals, Raccoon slowly lets pieces of his life slip out. His childhood obsession with raccoon fact books gave him the nickname he still carries, and he often uses their facts as metaphors for his own experiences. Beneath it all, Raccoon is a man on the run from himself.
